Hook each end to the chain, move the handle back and forth, and the binder pulls the chain tight a little at a time. Once the load is snug, the handle folds down flat against the body, so it does not stick out past the load or catch on anything. It fits both 5/16" and 3/8" Grade 70 chain, which covers most flatbed and equipment jobs.

Specification

Details

Chain Size

5/16" to 3/8" Grade 70

Binder Type

Ratchet Binder with Folding Handle

End Fitting

Grab Hooks on Both Ends

Working Load Limit

5,400 lbs

Material

Forged Steel

Key Features

A folding handle drops flat after tightening, so nothing pokes out from the side of the trailer.

Ratchet action tightens in small, steady steps, with no hard snap like a lever binder.

Quick take-up pulls slack out of the chain fast and saves time at every tie-down point.

Fits two chain sizes – the grab hooks take both 5/16" and 3/8" transport chain.

Easy, safe release lets you loosen the chain slowly instead of all at once.

Made from forged steel and rated at a 5,400 lbs working load limit.

A compact ratchet chain binder made by Safe & Tie for equipment haulers, flatbed drivers and tow operators.

Ideal Applications

Equipment tie-down – tighten chains on skid steers, tractors, backhoes and forklifts.

Tight spaces – use where a fixed handle would hit the load, the deck or the next binder.

Steel and heavy freight – lock down coils, beams, pipe and concrete products.

Flatbed, lowboy, gooseneck and tilt trailers.

Farm, logging and construction hauling.

Loads that must stay inside the trailer width.
